My name is Cara Jackson, and I am currently a senior at Boston College. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2023 with a BS in Biochemistry as part of the Honors Chemistry Program. Over the Summer of 2022, I was a Quality Assurance Intern at PROMETRIKA. At the end of the Summer, my internship was re-evaluated and extended into Fall 2022!
Quality Assurance serves many functions at PROMETRIKA such as tracking training and controlled documents, conducting audits, and assuring that the company is performing at the highest level and abiding all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Working with the Head of Quality Assurance at PROMETRIKA, I had the opportunity to work on many projects including updating and editing SOPs, running a validation test for a computer system, and participating in several client, vendor, and internal audits.
Due to the nature of Quality Assurance, I had the opportunity to work with employees across all departments and learn about the work of other groups and how everything comes together at PROMETRIKA.
