My name is Zhibang Lin and I recently graduated from Boston University with a Master of Science in Applied Biostatistics. I had the great pleasure of being a Biostatistics intern at PROMETRIKA over the Summer of 2022.
Throughout this internship experience, I was exposed to clinical research and to the procedures of what the FDA requires of a new drug. In addition, I received hands-on experience with coding and real-world applications. I reported to the Director of Biostatistics, and, under her guidance, I worked on multiple projects with different sponsors. These projects enriched my skills in data processing, designing statistical analysis plans, and tables, listings and figures (TLFs) shells in accordance with study protocols. Most importantly, I learned to be cautious and considerate of all the potential circumstances that might occur in clinical studies. This fantastic journey prepared me for the next level in my career, and it was such an incredible and memorable experience working at PROMETRIKA.
